Claim and Account Center,
where you can obtain detailed information about your claim and access copies of
all documents recorded in connection with your claim. This is a powerful tool
for claimants, and greatly improves our ability to quickly review your case and
offer a meaningful opinion about your claim.
The Board of Industrial
Insurance Appeals is an administrative law court that hears appeals from
decisions made by the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries,
among other matters. This site includes a search engine to review significant
decisions issued by the Board, as well as complete information about the appeal
process. You can even file an appeal online!
The Washington State
Employment Security Department site has information concerning return-to-work
programs and other benefits available to people who are not employed or
are underemployed. Of interest to workers' compensation claimants is a
description of potential entitlement to unemployment insurance benefits.
The U.S. Department of Labor
site contains information relevant to all workers, including those with
Federal Workers' Compensation or Longshore & Harborworkers' claims.
Information concerning federal safety guidelines and requirements can be
obtained via the Occupational
Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) site.
The Department of Veteran's Affairs benefit site provides information on a variety of programs, including disability and retraining benefits.
